Campbell, Debbie: Romeo & Juliet - musical based on the play

Based on the play by William Shakespeare, this book includes score, pupils' script and song lyrics. Shakespeare's original text has been edited for young performers, but for a more ambitious production, you may like to add more dialogue from the original play. The music is dramatic and varied, with fighting songs, dances and romantic solos, in both traditional and modern styles. Emotions range from entertaining comedy to the final tragic scene. There is plenty of scope for solo, group, & chorus.
